This one should be a no-brainer, since the Mac version's assets are now supported by ScummVM.

I think Presto said on their Facebook page that it should be out by the end of the month.

Yeah, but this is like... the fourth "projected release window" for this game. March 2013, spring 2013, February 2014, now March 2014.

However, its the first time they have started taking preorders for the updated hybrid Mac/PC/Linux version on their site.

It's also the first version to include most if not all the stuff from the unreleased PSX version. So this is the proper 'director's cut' version.

Does the game even have a gamecard here on GOG yet?

I don't even think it has an actual release date yet. Presto says they have a final Windows version, but are still waiting for final approval from GOG.

It's almost here. Well, it's almost here if you're buying the hybrid Windows/Mac/Linux DVD version. If you're waiting for the GOG version... well, tell GOG to get on it.

JMP Twitter feed is saying the April 10th date is now set in stone. One more week, and I can finally put 17 years of waiting to bed.

I've been waiting to bed this game too. However, regardless of how long I've been waiting to share the night with Pegasus Prime, I'm going to show restraint on our first night together. Not because there's no attraction, in fact, nothing could be further from the truth. I just have the utmost respect for her, I see this thing between me and her going somewhere and I want to take my time getting to know her for all the things that make her perfect beneath her surface beauty. It's clear she's classically gorgeous and my initial instinct is to just go all the way, but I know if I take my time with this one, it will be infinitely rewarding. So I'm going to light some candles, pour some wine and show Pegasus Prime the sophisticated side I only show those really special games. Not at all like how I play through those cheap, young & forgettable AAA releases in a single night (sometimes, I can't even remember their names a month later) because I think I may truly love Pegasus Prime.
