Every time I launch this game on Windows 7 it just goes to a black screen and my computer becomes unresponsive. The only way to get out of it is to manually power the computer down. Anyone else have this problem?
Fixed my own problem.. to anyone else that might have this problem in the future; if your video card or monitor doesn't support 640x480 resolution, simply right click the shortcut and uncheck the 640x480 resolution option. Should work like a charm afterwards!
I tried what you did and I still can't get it to launch. I sent an email to the GOG customer service a few days ago and haven't received a response yet. Can anyone else help? I have Vista tho, not Windows 7.

The next time someone tells me that GOG works perfectly I'm going to punch them. This is like the third game I've bought that just plain will not work out of the box.

If your card doesn't support 640x480 you can usually add it. I don't know with ATI but with nVidia cards there's an option to it "ad custom resolution".
I think almost all cards should support that.
I usually don't have problems with GOG-releases but I guess getting old games to run flawlessly on EVERY system might be an almost impossible task.
