Wow! Just wow! I kid you not I was just thinking over this past weekend, 'what one single game do I want to see on GoG more than any other?' and my answer was very specifically Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time. I wake up today, check GoG, and there it is! This game is such a classic to me and I haven't booted it up in 12 years now. I can't wait for my download to finish and fire it up. Hopefully we'll see the rest of the series available here in time but for right now, 2 was the one I wanted most. Thanks for reading my mind GoG!

Now all we need is the Turbo edition of the first episode, and of course the last episode. Can't understand why they'd be released here out of sequence, though.

Probably the same reason we don't have the first Broken Sword and Freedom Force games: rights issues.
There's a bigger issue with the first Journeyman Project - it's got a 16-bit main executable because it was written for Windows 3.1. That means a 64-bit Windows CANNOT run it, not without some kind of virtual PC software. To release it, they'd first have to write a new 32-bit EXE or do something else really clever, which may or may not be within the realm of the possible.
That said, I've wished for years for a copy of JPT that I could run on a modern computer. If they could find a way to make it work on a 64-bit OS, I'd buy that the moment I saw it.
My heart skipped a beat when I checked my email inbox and saw the time travel suit. I couldn't believe it when I clicked on the link. Unfortunately, I'm at work so I can't download it, but I know what I am gonna be busy doing tonight.
Also, I didn't really care for journeyman 1, so no big loss, but I definitely sincerely hope that legacy of time is on the way.
Please Please Please Gog!
Gog has made alot of people happy today :)

Its too bad the remake, Pegasus Prime, was only for Mac. At least ... I think it was. Fingers crossed for Legacy of Time though!
Ironically, I bought a netbook just to play Journeyman Project. I literally just beat all three of them, and now I could've played JMAN II on a good modern machine.
Ah well. It was fun. For anyone interested, JMAN Turbo, Buried in Time, and Legacy of Time (DVD version) all work on my Asus netbook with compatability mode.
Maybe this means we'll get a windows version of JMAN: Pegasus Prime!
I dont post alot on this site, but Ive been using GoG since Beta or whatever (almost a couple years now). I love that they are making old games playable on modern machines.
Anyway, Reason I am posting is because as soon as I saw JMP 2 on here I HAD TO GET IT. It was one of my first CD PC games a very long time ago (I got it for like my 9th birthday or something). I remember it being really difficult puzzle wise, but extremely eery and entertaining.
I'm so happy they have this! I've been thinking lately how much I would like to play it again (if only I still had this one, but sadly this one was lost to time for me) and its so awesome they have it on GOG now.
Thank You GOG.com! WOOO!
There was a rare Windows 95 native version of The Journeyman Project Turbo! which had the Overview, Gallery and Trailer videos for The Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time and the trailer for The Journeyman Project: Director's Cut (which later became Pegasus Prime).

I have that one. It came with a Packard Bell PC purchased in 1995 (right when machines started shipping with Win95). It doesn't work in Win7 64bit at all. The launcher comes up, plays the theme song, but none of the buttons do anything. A look at the disc shows that while the launcher is a native Win32 application, the contents are still very much 16bit EXE files. I've attached some oven-fresh screenshots.

Well, like most here I am new to Gog (funny name, this is the name of an experimental drone band I like too).
Anyway, this game is unreal. Technically, it took me 10 years to beat. I started it back in 1997 and it wasn't until 2007 I remembered the damn game and (with my accumulated age and rigor) I beat it finally.
This game really makes me smile like an idiot. A smile you can't wipe off at all. Awesome Gog people. Awesome.
I don't understand your post. I'm running JPT on a 64-bit OS (7 Ultimate) and it works fine.
