I'm stuck in Chateau Gaillard. I've found and cataloged the temporal ripple at the Farnstein Lab, grabbed necessary objects and solved a puzzle in Chichen Itza (taking a skull with me too for some reason) and went over to the Chateau. I grabbed the Bloody Arrow, the grappling hook and had a nice giggle at Arthur's Monty Python reference. But when I get to the point where I need to wait for the wall to break away, it doesn't happen. I've sat for about ten minutes in front of it waiting. I've tried it cloaked, uncloaked, etc and I know if I proceed forward then I'll die. What the heck's up?

This question / problem has been solved by macnbcimage
I've heard of this issue before (a friend of mine ran into it playing the original game way back when) but am not quite sure how to fix it. (The boulder should crash through the wall after about 5-10 seconds.)
Obviously the first thing I can think of would be to jump to another time zone and jump back to see if that somehow "resets" it. Saving the game just BEFORE the suspect wall and reloading might help as well.
Hope that helps. Good luck!
EDIT: I found another site referencing this bug that offered the following:
"I've heard two solutions to fixing it: 1) restore from a location inside the castle or at least at some place other than where you wait for the catapult (you can use the fast movement option to get back to the catapult quickly) or 2) turn around 360 degrees at that same spot."

I restored from an earlier save game and did the usual and managed to get through it. Thanks. Silly glitches.

hey, i have this glitch, and absolutely nothing less than restarting the game will fix it. sometimes that won't matter if the glitch happens again.
unfortunately for me, i didn't know it was a glitch, and i completed like half of the game, including that nerve-racking part in the space ship, before i realized that i would have to start over to complete the game.
so i started over, but there is no guarantee that it won't happen again one of the times i have to go back to the castle, which is two or three times.
i guess i've been pretty lucky with game breaking bugs that other folks seem to encounter, so i shouldn't be too peeved, but i am certainly hating this game right now.
WORD TO THE WISE, visit the castle later in the game, and SAVE before you go there, just in case this bug happens to you.

For 'Journeyman 3 Legacy Of Time', I had initial problems but finally got the game running smoothly, when today I hit a HUGE snag. I've gotten about midway through the Himalayas (all that tunnel stuff) when I returned to the Blue Buddha and needed to give him the begging bowl from Atlantis and what do you know< I can;t get back to where the beggar was!! I can go to Atlantis, but cannot leave the place where I got the pyramidal object that the Cyrollans and humans needed. It seems I can't jump back to a prior place, and I can't take doing all that tunnel/maze over. Is there a way to get the bowl for the Blue Buddha that I've missed?
Lunatic...

When you jump back to where you got the pyramid piece from in Atlantis you need to open (or shut, cant recall which) the water inlet gate again with the barge pole you used previously.
You can then go down the stairs and back through the secret passage.
Take the Gondola to the docks and the beggar has gone leaving his bowl behind.
Thank you so much for responding. This was the very first thing I tried, BUT that hook pole had disappeared from my inventory! I tried using something else, but naturally nothing else worked! I'm hoping some one has some kind of way out of this dilemma. I knew I was making good time in the tunnels for a purpose, and now I know why!
