Hi. The J3 game tells me that I need to insert the disc at the Main Menu, after choosing New Game. I was thinking that the download was all of the J3 content, and so I wouldn't need any discs. I do have a physical copy of the three discs I bought from Ebay, besides trying GOG. I also can't get the game to progress when trying the discs. My situation is complicated a little because I have Linux Ubuntu; but using the program Wine should take care of concerns running Windows games--I also have the game installed and my GOG linked, in Lutris.
I also have the game Buried in Time, and the problem is the same-- hangs when I select New Game.
For my specs: 24GB memory, GeForce GTX 1650 2GB, and Ubuntu Mate 22.04. I also tried to get the iso of Windows XP and install it under VirtualBox-- but I don't really use VB a lot, so may have messed up; the iso didn't work when i attached it to the virtual Optical Drive. Thanks. If you have thoughts about Buried in Time that would help, I would also appreciate that.
