I reinstalled Windows 10 on my machine and now the game shows this message when I try to launch it.

The game claims it cannot find the DirectX runtime.

According to DxDiag my machine is running DirectX 12.
According to a Microsoft support page (I cannot post links), Windows 10 already includes the DirectX runtime so there is no standalone installer.
The game ran fine before I reinstalled my machine.

The only difference is the Windows version, I am currently running 20H2 version. My previous installation was older.

Anyone having this issue?

some games require the DirectX Redistributable which can be downloaded at Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/download/details.aspx?id=353

I don't know why, but like some other runtimes (ike Visual C++ Redist), the DX components aren't present after a "clean" installation of Windows. Hope this helps!
