When i try to run the WF6.exe file, it asks for a registration key (a 16 digit serial number). How do I get this key?
Anyone?
This question / problem has been solved by Andy_Panthroimage
I can't remember having that issue when installing it.
Than again, I'm not sure if I ever installed the copy I bought here.
The support page doesn't mention a serial, but the manual does.
Isn't there a file after installation in which the serial is noted?
I'll go through my files this evening if you haven't worked it out yet or haven't replied yet.
I find it strange that you need a serial for a GOG game... have you contacted support?
Also, if you patched the game it may have replaced the copy-protection. I'd recommend a re-install from your install file (perhaps re-download also?).
I just downloaded and installed the game.
There's no serial needed.
As Andy suggested, you might want to redownload the game if you didn't download it recently.
Uninstall your current game (you could copy the directory first if you wish) and reinstall from the installation file.
Did you use some kind of patch or add-on which might have screwed up your installation?
I downloaded game today and having that problem>.<

I downloaded through Gog.com Downloader - after the install it asks me for registration key:(

I would like to ask gog.com to assistance in that matter.

Edit: after googling it i found that many people are having the problem - even after patching.
It seems that sometimes game can't write build in CD-key into the system registry, i'm using Windows 7 Proffessional.

I can't guarantee this will help at all, but you did make sure to run the installer as an administrator, right? I've had my share of trouble from games that require administrator privileges to install properly in Win 7.

So yeah - i tried few things into that direction and did it;P

It seems you have run game.exe as administrator every time - not only the installer;)

Thanks for the hint;)

I'm glad it worked for you! For a program like that, I usually go into the shortcut properties and set the advanced options to always run it as an administrator. Just makes it all the easier.
