My campaign missions will not end in Jagged Alliance Deadly Games.
I have tried google with no success ... The only way i can finish any mission at all is to shoot my own mercenaries and then keep ending my turns till they die ... If I was to finish the campaign I would have no mercenaries left because I would have to shoot them all. This is not just the main campaign I have downloaded other campaigns off the net as well as trying top generate campaigns.
I believe the problem lies in the game not recognizing the mission is finished after I complete the objectives and it does not set the button up top to finish the mission.
I have been tearing my hair out to solve this one on my own ... I don't think it is a hardware issue ... It seems like a game fault ... I have tried running as administrator without any success ...
I have windows 7 premium.
If anyone could suggest something I would be really grateful.
Cheers
Ryan

Repatched the game manually from the website posted below:

Worked fine after that :)
Don't worry, it's normal, it's because you're playing with Unlimited turns. Normally a mission ends when you reach the turn limit. With Unlimited turns, to leave a mission you must press W. A box will appears asking if you want to withdraw your men, if your objectives are completed when you withdraw, the mission will be a success, otherwise, it will be a failure.

I hope it helps!

Which works if all the enemies are dead. Anyone got a non-sociopathic suggestion for how missions can end by withdrawal without requiring a total bloodbath?

I've moved my mercs to the edge of the map, but it won't let me leave because there are still enemies. However, I lack the firepower to take down my enemies for sure, and I don't wanna lose my mercs. Is there a way to just withdraw off the edge?

EDIT: I have, of course, completed the mission objectives, destroying some satellite uplinks.
