Heya, I'm looking through the current mods for JA2. I remember playing a mod called Wildfire years ago, but now I can't seem to find it. There's only the standalone commercial version, confusingly named the same.

Is the Wildfire mod still out there somewhere, does anybody play it? Any alternatives? As far as I remember it didn't have any changes to stuff like action points, game mechanics, difficulty etc. It might have been mainly a weapon and sound mod because I really remember the gunfire sounds being much more beefy and the enemies screaming like crazy, lol.

I'd like to find that mod, or if somebody wants to recommend something similar! So preferably just bugfixes, AI improvements and so on, no major changes to how the game plays. Any suggestions?

Are you sure that that free wildfire mod isn't the same as this commercial wildfire mod?
It's been a long time, but I vaguely remember this mod going commercial while it was free before.

I think i have the Wildfire as a retail cd because it was pretty cheap years ago.
It's 4.89 , also bought the 'game' here at GOG.

I.m looking for a way to resolve the fonts being blurry , i thought i had a forum post here regarding this problem , but can't find it so maybe i never post a question about it i gues, still using search but its hard to find things here usings search which seem to be common cause many onlinegame
forums have same problem: ogame forum, gladiatus forum , shakes and fidget forum all forums which are a pain to find a topic .... using search.

Anyway i guess i will keep on looking :D
