When you have the helicopter available to you, can the enemy attack you by air? for example in specific sectors.

I explain myself in the sound editor of ja2 (the basic game), there are several quotes (from all mercs not from Skyranger) that refer to an air attack, "danger aerial attack" "anti aircfraft" (or something like that).

It is impossible to access a sector of missiles s.a.m. already occupied by the enemy when we're in chopper , so I can't trigger that specific quote from my mercs.

I wonder if these dialogs simply have not been used in the final version of the game.

The helicoper can be shot down while flying through a sector that is within range of an active SAM site
("active" = control panel must not be destroyed), of course enemies forces must be present there.
These sectors are colored red in the airspace view on the strategic map.

The quotes you refer to were designed for the airstrikes that did not make it into the final release of JA2,
in case check this thread for some details:

and flugente also mentioned the airstike in at least one of his posts:

Are you speaking of vanilla JA2 or 1.13?
In 1.13 it is possible to drop a squad from the helicopter in a sector that is occupied by the enemy.
Just select all desired mercs in the heli and assign them to a squad.
Although i used that in green sectors dozens of times,
i never took the risk to fly my squad through several hot sectors in order to drop in a sam site,
but i think it should also be possible in 1.13.
OK I understand better, thank you to you for taking the time to answer me.

I was talking about the vanilla version of JA 2 I am playing the game via Stracciatella.
