So was GOG able to get the Rhino demon transformation spell in their release?

I'm referring to the transformation that was a preorder bonus originally.

I'd like to know if rhino demon is included in this version. That is to say GOG was hopefully given access to it legitimately. Or, at least is it compatible with the preorder rhino installation disk (I have a copy of this)?

Either of these two options would improve GOG's chances of me buying the game from them.

I saw here, that it was possible to add the Rhino Demon to the game.

I am not planing to mess with the program, if the Rhino is not available then it is not worth risking valuable data, there are other good skills available, too bad the rhino is no tough I would pay (not a lot, like $1 or up to $3) for the rhino as DLC

Wordpad is advanced.

The files are there, but haven't been enabled. You can always contact support and request them to enable it for an updated installer/patch.

For those complaining about those very simple and straightforward instructions, here is the file correctly edited per those instructions. This should save you most of the work, just drop "ar_town.2da" into the "override" folder in the "Jade Empire" directory, overwriting the existing file. If you wish to revert to not getting the rhino demon when a new character starts the game, use the file from the "Backup" folder.
