Hello everybody.I bought Ishar compilation from GOG, but while playing Ishar 3, dosbox just crash and send me back to windows ...display message is that dosbox encourged some problem and needs to close, something like that...
Does anyone have the same problem?Windows is XP Professional

Try different graphic mode:
There is graphic mode setup for each GOG's DOSBox game under Menu Start/Programs/GOG.com/<game>

You may also try playing in windowed mode - go to your Ishar3 folder, open *.conf file in Notepad and change line fullscreen=true to false.

This game seems to be very buggy. It crashes often. I tried all settings, and of course fullscreen and window-mode.

But now it is extremely annoying: I am in the forest and talked to the hexed magician, took the text-roll and i am on my way back to mather. But on the way i am attacked by bees. And during the fight it crashes ALWAYS. What can i do ?

My System: Win7 32 Bit

After entering the tower of Mather Fudius and speaking to him I had to enter a word from the manual and the game chrashed. Is this game not DRM-free?

DRM free as in it doesn't install SecureRom or Tages.
You can find passwords in the manual, page 2. Manual is in the installation folder. I hope someone makes a GOG mix that lists games that require passwords. It would be helpful to know which games need passwords before playing.

I had a crash too. I'll try the DOSBOX configuration to see if that helps.

Ishar 3 is crashing here too :-(

Ishar 1 & 2 are playing fine. Any idea what can i do?

Disabling sound in Ishar 3 setup worked for me. The game still crashes but not as often. Hope it helps.

I had the same problem until when I'd switched "Keep aspect ratio" in graphic mode setup to on.

It really, REALLY doesn't work for me. :S

How do you do that? I can't find that option anywhere

I managed to get it working by changing soundblaster 16 to soundblaster 2.0
