It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I'm trying to download a current version of the Iron Storm installer. Unfortunately, no matter what language I select, the GOG Downloader always tells me that I have the Polish-language version.

Help resolving this would be welcome.

It's probaly a bug in GOG downloader, just to be sure try downloading the game via browser.

edit: there's a similar bug with another game -

Hey, if I had a reliable Internet connection I wouldn't need to use the downloader. :)

As it is, I don't think it's a problem with the downloader. If I turn downloader mode off, I note that, whatever language I select, the link is the same:

https://www.gog.com/downlink/iron_storm/en1installer0

where the "en" in "en1installer" means English.

What this LOOKS like is the code in your language pulldown menu has the same address for each menu item.

As to why the downloader claims to be linked to the Portugese version while the website only offers the English version ...

You can use a download manager for your browser, which can resumes download in case it is interrupted. ;)

And posting the link into my download manager (GetRight) gives me a Not Allowed Access error message. Which is not surprising, because GOG's server doesn't know that my download manager belongs to a customer.

To use the GOG downloader, I first have to be logged in to GOG's server, and I must have purchased the game I want to dfownload. The server then authorises my browser to send a download link to the GOG downloader, which is automatically allowed access to the server.

Well, I'm using this add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/addon/downthemall/ and it works great.
