Battlezone players have kept Activision Anet servers active long after Activision tunred the official servers off. Dan Kegel has in his Jan 2010 server.txt file five servers listed. By default these servers should support Interstate 76.

check the battlezone forum for the latest server.dat file

Hopefully, they would also have the fixed anet libraries that caused multiplayer to fail for Windows OS > Win98.
You can run you own anet server as the source code has been released to the public.
That's awesome. VPN doesn't work for me as, for some reason, I76 always crashes when I try to play via IPX. Anyone willing to give this a shot?

You may need to add the IPX protocol to your network configuration. May try later.
Where do I put the servers.dat file?
