As far as I know, to remove Denuvo the game has to be compiled from the source code.
This question / problem has been solved by Thievimage
came in here looking for this info as well. this has gotta be the first Denuvo game to later be completely DRM free right?
I would like to know why GOG has published the game that is protected with Denuvo Anti-Tamper.? Surely had to publish the game already cracked by a group called CPY months ago.

The developer published the game here. GOG obviously doesn't allow using Denuvo and as I said, Denuvo is relatively easy to remove.
We received unprotected build from the publisher.
And in case someone is wondering :

On Steam

"INSIDE patch notes 2016/11/23
23 NOVEMBRE - GARMONBOZIA
-Removed Denuvo Anti-Tamper
-Minor fixes"

Yes, Denuvo have been cracked for some games (including INSIDE):

No reason to keep the protection

Seriously, what kind of question is that? Why would GOG publish a game with Denuvo? And cracks? GOG gets their copies directly from the developers/publishers. What makes you think Denuvo is somehow an essential part of a game's final build?

hey, are you SURE it was the unprotected build ? do you have any way to check ? any contract warranty for that ?

listen here it is serious !

DENUVO is dangerous shit ! no, really, this is the worst security threat i have ever seen...

Even if it is "desactivated", it still is "there" and is still a threat because of the kind of software elements it leaves behind and deals with...

To make it short: Denuvo is a potentiel open door to infection by cryptolocker virus !

Especially as it had been cracked* on "some" games, even if each specific game requires a separate crack, the core of denuvo cryptographic mechanics and its links/interaction with windows's cryptographic elements is a MAJOR RISK.

So please GOG, confirm me that this insane shit is in NO WAY inside the product you released on your catalog !
Because afaic, if it is not that way, i ask for an immediate refund and afaic, i' consider GOG responsible of any future infection of that kind...

* ((by some shady hackers groups, for example, kind of people known to work driven by pure altruism for the only sake of consumers entertainment only))

PS: oooh and also, your SSD will LOVE denuvo as it slowly KILLS its read/write storage cells... Hail Denuvo, the triumphant return of DRM that DAMAGE/DESTROY hardware parts (YOUR hardware)... Sorry but killing a good hardware part AND risking a nasty infection just to play games is a complete NO for me...
