I'm playing this game via Wine on Linux.
At some point in Act II, I went into the in-game settings in order to tweak the gamma. When I increased the gamma by a step, the screen went entirely black. The game was still running, as indicated by sound effects, but there was no display.
If I close and reboot the game, it again gives me a black screen. I assume the gamma setting has been preserved on a global level, rather than on a save-specific level.
I would like to manually reset the gamma setting to default, so that the display hopefully returns. I presume I could do this by editing a value in a configuration file somewhere, but I can't find the right file or value.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
