get poisoned at battlefield andit can be cured eventually but takes time,
or i have to go back to town to find a priest to heal me.

are there any potion i can buy to heal poisoning?
there is a spell that can heal. you can gain access to new schools via buying their appropriate spell book (800gp)
thanks for ur answering!!

can paladin learn this spell?
if can, where can i buy this book in the town of hillbrandt
and what is the specific name of the book?
The Purge spell is one of your options, but you would need some skill to have it work right, in my opinion. It belongs to the white spell school. The green spell school has the Resist Poison spell, which weakens poisons and increases your resistance.

Divine school has the Heal and Resurrection spells, which restores HP and brings back your companions respectively.

To answer your questions:
1. if I recall magic fields are not restricted by class. Paladins can learn any field like other classes but can't reach the same heights of skill
2. I know you can buy books from a priest at the back of the church in Hillbrandt.
3. To learn Divine magic you need the "Theologica Arcanes", the 'green' school is Pagan Magic I'm fairly certain and that needs the "Elenchos Tes Pseudonymu Gnoseos" and Purge is part of the magic of true faith for which you need the "Adversum Maleficarum"

... You might want to write down the spell book names. Not really catchy.

call a spell
increase holy protection
take equipment which can decrease the damage of it

poison is not that bad
getting 'confuse' is the worst thing in the game
Here is a list of generally useful spells and their schools. For all of these skills you only need lvl 6 at most in the school. Many are just level 1

Divine

Endurance- Restores stamina
Healing touch- Restores Hp
Raise Dead- Resurrect dead allies

Inquisitor

Sixth sense- Free identify spell

Pagan

Shatter- Lockpick spell (Has lower success rating later on in dungeons so you may have to cast 4 or five times if you aren't specializing in magic. But some doors have 500 or more hp and it just seems easier to use this than anything else.)

Purge is a great spell but I am finding in later levels, I don't have the skill to get rid of some of the higher degree conditions and I am leveling it so i don't know whether you want to put points into it in the long run. (I am specializing as a priest so I have plenty of points). But healing touch works wonders against poison. I personally think curse is the worse condition in the game.
Yeah, I'm not to happy with purge. It worked great at first against lower level spiders but once I got to the iron mine it wasn't effective on the poison effects there. So I just now upgraded that school to Rank 2 and it still fails to cure it. The tooltip isn't very clear on what danger level is. But it seems to be 20 + Skill Rank. Too bad the game doesn't tell you the danger? level of an negative effect so you can get an idea of this spells long term viability.

It's strange since I haven't ran across any weapons/ammo that have over 26 poison strength/dangerousness/etc. Wish they would have been consistent on the terminology or at least explained some of the mechanics in the manual. Ah well.
I got a lot of problems with ineffective Purge spell despite dropping enough points to reach 3rd rank (out of four),
Turns out - you need to cast Bless every time you want to cure yourself and your companions.
I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to post for people who may be new to the game and having trouble with poisoning. If you're playing as a priest, you can mix your own regeneration potions at journeyman level. Mix a potion of constitution with a potion of speed and a potion of strength. Even a "bad" potion of regeneration will heal you quickly enough to keep you from dying from the poison. If you can't make your own, you can keep initiating dialogue with merchants until they appear in their goods for sale and stock up that way. I always carry at least three with me when I'm not able to get back to town right away.

Divine Magic has the Healing Touch spell (level 6 skill) and Pagan Magic has Regeneration (level 11 skill, I believe) if your Purge spell isn't working well enough.
