Hi,

Apparently we can't access or share custom puzzles with the gog version of the game. Our own custom puzzles are stored as files, though: in the .local/share/Infinifactory/0/custom/ directory. My guess is that we can simply upload/download more files in this directory.

To test this theory I'd like to download some puzzles off Steam Workshop and put them there. However, I didn't figure out a way to download puzzles as regular files, and I didn't find any other non-Steam puzzle file. Is there a workaround?

Armin
You can try this: http://steamworkshopdownloader.com/

I've never used it myself so I can't vouch for it. I got the link from the Door Kickers forums as that guy's instructions to download workshop files.

Great, it works, thanks! For reference for others: (1) download a file at this url; it will be called "c########", where "#" are random numbers. (2) move the file inside a folder with other similarly-named files in a path named roughly "local/share/Infinifactory/0/custom/" (the exact path depends on your OS). (3) restart the game if needed.

Thanks for the additional info, that's good to know as I'm considering buying it in the insomnia sale.
