(SPOILER WARNING: THE PLOT OF THE GAME)
ANOTHER WARNING: THE GAME CONTAINS IMAGES OF DRUG ABUSE
Paraedolon (an indie game, by Kira)
At the start of the game, you watch some news on TV, which state that an asteroid reached Earth, and it started orbiting the planet temporarily, as a second Moon, for an estimated brief amount of time (two months). You are then given control of your character, who was lying unconscious in an alley, due to having used drugs earlier.
You wake up in that alley, and start walking. Down the alley, you find a drug dealer, who gives you (first hit is free) a new drug, called Jumala Konserv. You use it, and you leave the alley. You’re stuck in a loop and can’t get out of there. After some efforts, you see a huge structure with tentacles, which looks like a face looking at you, floating in the sky. You then watch as your character’s entrails are outside your body, and you hold them with your hands. Another man asks if you’re ok, at which you see that you had a pile of garbage in front of you, after all. Suddenly, something like a big tentacle comes down from above, killing the other man.
After that, you meet a policeman. You ask for his help, because the other man is dead, and there’s something in the sky. He doesn’t believe you and threatens to shoot you. You hit the policeman with your wrench, take his gun and shoot at the face-structure, which is lowering from the sky towards you. You are then seen lying down in an ambulance, and a man is standing beside you, having the same face as the face-structure you fought.
You appear to be outside a nearby park, and you enter it. You see that the face-structure has crashed in the park. Since you need more drugs, you cut a piece of its face with your pocket knife, and you return to the starting alley. At the start of the alley, you see your character lying there, with no characteristics on his face, and you realize your character has been lying dead there, since the beginning (also, probably the face you were seeing was yours all along).
