Hi, I've never been able to play this game since I was a child and I am really glad that it has seen a realease here. I would like to play it with a controller, but the mapping of the buttons by deafault is quite strange. I've tried changing it but it crashes. Anybody can help?


Edit: Nevermind, just create a txt file, change the extension to kfg and change whatever you like from the xinput config

Not a solution for me as I exchanged "CD1.GOB" and "CD2.GOB" to change the language to German. But now the standard Controller Mappings are gone in the settings and I can't change them to my own.

maby reinstall to get the files back?

Yes of course that's an option but I want to play the game in German instead of English. That's why this is no solution for me.

This is not an ingame solution, but I would suggest to use JoyToKey. That's what I'm using to play this game, and I'm using it regularly with some other games without issue : it's a software who enables you to map on your gamepad keys from your keyboard. This way, the game thinks you play with a keyboard but in fact you're using your gamepad.
If you use it, remember to disable the gamepad ingame ;)
