I am currently at Level 14 (King Nub's Tomb) and I have found quite an unusual situation. After finding Anubis' arm the Soviet soldiers entered the tomb and now I am dealing with them. However, one of them is literally unkillable. No matter what I try, he is immune to every single weapon I throw at him. This guy has survived the submachine gun, grenades, the bazooka... you name it. All the other soldiers that are in the same room as him can be killed, but not this one. He doesn't even seem to be an important character, just another NPC.

So far I have come with a workaround: I am activating Taklit's part (the invisibility one) to cross that room undetected. I hope I don't need to use any other items in the future in that room, because you can't hold two items at once. At least I have been able to advance in the level. However, I think it's safe to assume this is not how it's supposed to work.

Have you ever encountered this problem in the game? I have a savefile if anyone wants to take a look.

It looks like a bug. Does Indy aim at the enemy?
Have you maybe tried to reload the game from previous save point?

Must be a bug. I tested it and Indy certainly doesn't aim at him. So the game must not be recognizing it as an enemy.

I did reload and the behavior was the same. I am way too deep into Nub's tomb at the moment so I don't think I will encounter him again.

However, you gave me the idea to load an even earlier save file, from before I got Anubis' arm which seems to be trigger for the Soviets to appear. I replayed a little and this time I was able to kill all of them! :D So just a weird bug. Anyway, as I mentioned, I had already played past this area so I'll just continue with that savefile, but it was good to solve this mystery. ;)
Great to hear you've solved :)
