A freeware utility called Antimicro can be used to get your gamepad working in Emperor's Tomb. At the bottom is a download for a profile that is set up for an XB1 controller, but it should translate to a 360 compatible gamepad automatically. For others, you can look at the layout and see for yourself how it is set up.

Loading the profile and clicking Names at the bottom will show you what buttons do what.

Climbing and decending ropes should be DPad up and down.

This is set for default mouse, keys and sensitivity, so be sure to set as default.

You may have to run Antimicro as Admin if it doesn't work in game.

Download the profile Here and copy it to the profiles folder in your Antimicro installation.

EDIT: If you use the 60fps fix the look movement will be WAY off. I found 20 for Left/Right and 15 for Up/Down in Xpadder felt about right. While 16 for Left/Right and 13 for Up/Down was good for Antimicro.

EDIT 2: You want to change the right stick click (C) to toggle or it will be almost impossible to aim. Sorry, it took me a while to get to a place I had to use it.

There is no first person toggle, you could swap the Right Stick Click instead of centering camera if you wish, but I found it useless. Climbing and decending ropes should be DPad up and down.

This is set for default mouse, keys and sensitivity, so be sure to set as default.

Nice! This worked for everything except climbing up and down the rope. Any suggestions?
You will have to use the dpad up and down, it is mapped to the same keys as open/close inventory.
