So I've been playing this gem again lately and I'm up to the cave in Crete. I went to play again today except my save files are completely missing. I always let it sync after playing, so I tried selecting the cloud saves backup option in galaxy but still, no luck. Checked the game folder itself and the save folder is empty... Very mysterious and frustrating.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem before?

Cheers.

In the download page there is a changelog for today, I wonder if it is related.

Internal Update (25 April 2018)
[WIN][LINUX] updated builds with ScummVM 2.0
[WIN] enabled Cloud Saves support

[WIN] NOTICE: saves are now stored in a separate subfolder. If updating an already installed game, it might be necessary to move already existing saves to the game's SAVES subfolder.
Do you have Galaxy automatic updates enabled? Looks like the savefile location has moved.

IIRC, savefiles in Fate of Atlantis were stored in the same folder were the .exe is created. Can you see a new SAVES subfolder?

Ahh you are right! The save folder was empty because that was the new addition from the update. So I found the save games in the game directory and moved them in the subfolder.
Thanks very much!!!

Is it worth it to update to ScummVM 2.0?

I didn't even know it updated to 2.0. Either way, I noticed no differences when finishing the game. So in this case, no?

I've read that ScummVM 2.0 solves an issue where the mouse cursor jumps from one side to the screen to another in Windows 10. I noticed it sometimes during my recent playthrough of Fate of Atlantis, but had no practical effect in gameplay. Apparently it's more annoying in certain games (such as Simon the Sorcerer).
