OCMvL: I wonder if this is normal or if something is wrong with my install? Never played the game in the old days, so I don't know how it's supposed to be.

Things I noticed that are off with keyboard input:
- Yaw and Roll are extremely slow, to the point of being unusable.
- If I Roll the ship it also pitches down slightly. I have to press Yaw and Roll simultaneously to only roll.
- Pitching is almost to fast and jolting in the beginning.

Nothing feels smooth and it's quite hard to even finish the NAV tutorials.

EDIT: The game has also severe performance issues, dropping down into the 20s during combat. Had to use dgVoodooCpl because nGlide doesn't work as I want it to.

EDIT 2: To answer my initial question. No it's not normal. I found the original game on the internet archive and ran it on a PCem with Win98 SE and it feels much smoother.

OCMvL: I doubt any modern ish system would have problems running this game if an emulated AMD K6 166 can run it in Software mode without issues.

I will play on PCem and maybe experiment with Dxwnd in the future if necessary. Thanks anyway.
