basically the title says it all. i did not need to set up any of the axes or anything like that. i have used the profiler to program the commands in.
however i am having a problem with the throttle. the throttle never decreases to zero. it appears to ignore the forward half of the throttle, and only accepts the lower half of the throttle. basically, the mid point of the throttle is set to around 500kps (starting command module) and driopping the throttle to zero only reduces the speed to 249kps. i actually have to hit the - key on the keyboard to get it the rest of the way down. ive seen on the board here about modifyin the ini file, but i didnt see anything there that could help me. the throttle is mapped to the right axis, but doesnt seem to read the whole axis, only half of it, if that makes any sense. i can always set two buttons as - and = but that REALLY detracts from the fun of using a joystick, that i just spent a hundred bucks on, had to return 3 times due to faulty sticks twice, throttle once, and even now i have a non functioning middle toggle and a malfunctioning mouse (on the throttle. it wont go UP) but after reading many reviews about the x52, i figured i was better off keeping this setup as its MOSTLY functional.
and for the record, my throttle works just fine on all my other games.
any help would be appreciated. the people here have been great, so a big thank you in advance.

EDIT: This is what is in my ini file pertaining to the throttle, not sure if both are correct, but i dont know enough about it.

Delete the one on the U axis, it's the slider, and it interferes with the throttle.
Once again, the people here are great. That worked like a charm. However ther is i deadzone in the middle of the throttle which still causes problems. Again, it takes away from the immersion.
however i found out that if you open flux.ini in the main folder and scroll down to inputdeviceD or something like that, the deadzones are there. I set all of them to 0.1 EXCEPT FOR THROTTLE. Throttle must be set at 0. ZERO. That way the throttle works exactly as it should. Ive noticed others having problems with the ini files and deadzones. Perhaps a modified set of them would help people out....(not everyone bothers to go through all of this, so it would help the people who arent so knowledgeable about computers and software.)
thanks again, everyone here has been a great help, and i really appreciate it.
