Hi there,

A while back, I went on a mission that involved several Remote-controlled fighters as my wingmen. As a reward for the mission I got to take one of them back to my base, with the offer of getting more through trading.

The REM fighter does show up in my inventory but I can't figure out how to actually equip my ship with it when leaving the base. I've not found it available anywhere on the loadout screen, nor can I take it as cargo, since it's considered equipment. Do I need to wait until I get a better ship than the Tug, or am I missing something?

Do you mean the turret fighters? I don't remember any mission involving fighters of any other sort. If that's the case, you put them on in place of weapons, and Az and Lori pilot them. They can either fire from the ship or you can detach them and have them operate independently.
No, I mean REM-fighters that accompany you when you take down the four freighters that are linked up to create a huge LDSI field.

When I click on them in the inventory screen, I don't get a specific Encylopedia entry but just the generic weapon systems page, where they are not listed---so perhaps they were just not entirely implemented.
You can add the REM fighter to your dockport.
It -was- just that the ship was too primitive, then. Thanks.
