Game crashes when I go through a Lagrange point while playing the original I-War. Though it does not do so in the add on campaign.

I am using Windows 10, 64 bit system. NVIDIA card.

That's a known bug with the game.

As far as I know there's no real fix for it. Some people were able to fix it by setting the compatibility mode of the game to Windows 95.

If that doesn't work, you're probably out of luck.

I'll give it a try. Oddly the expansion does not have the same problem.
I ran into this problem as well with my recent playthrough in Windows 7. I found the easiest way to solve it was to hit ESC as soon as you hit the LP, so it doesn't do that little cutscene and just dumps you out at your destination. It didn't ALWAYS work, but it worked more often than not. These late 90s games are so weird.

Maybe I'll give that a go if I try the game again. A possible work around I guess.

Perhaps https://www.gog.com/forum/independence_war_series/i_war_1_resources/post3 can be of assistance, then.
How did I miss that? Thanks for digging this old thread out. Could've helped a lot of people asking me about this, if I just had known... :P
