How do I Play this game?

MY laptop do not have the number keys and I dont have a joystic

Did I buy the wrong game ?

Which game: I-War 1 or I-War 2?

You could try using a joystick or gamepad for the flight controls. It's how the game was intended to be played.

There are also utilities like GlovePie or AutoHotKey which can re-direct keypresses to different keys.

Another thing to look at is there's a keymapping config file for I-War in the install folders somewhere (I can't remember exactly where, and I'm not on my home PC at the moment). You may be able to edit that to change the controls so they work on a laptop.
