(I mentioned this in the comments about I-War being todays hidden gem but figured it was best to ask here)

When I-War was originally released there was a weird boopy piece of music, as a wav file, hidden amongst the SFX and I was wondering if anyone had a copy of it.

As far as I'm aware it was removed from the later Independence War Deluxe (which I have on CD & GOG) and sadly I sold my original I-War disks.

I should note it wasn't amongst the pieces of music that GOG kindly added today.

Found it, hidden amongst a whole bunch of files I hadn't sorted yet. The track was called alien.wav and was basically a speed up version of the theme music from Bubble Bobble

Compared to say: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTmJJ0lUyQc&feature=related

Now I would love to know why it was hidden in the sounds directory, any idea Ravenger? (assuming you happen to read this)
i imagine it was just a sound test that got left in by mistake. Not a deliberate Easter egg.

Dang, I kind of hoped it was an Easter Egg. Oh well :) Regardless it left a lasting impression as I still remember the piece of music (and still had the track) some 15 years later (ack - btw file date is 11th November 1996, 17:02)

Thanks for taking the time to answer.
