This game would really benefit with the occulus rift because it's impossible to spot enemy craft looking on a one screen plane.
i love the atmosphere,music and sounds and feel but it's way way OTT in difficulty.
I was stuck tonight for 2 hours finding craft with cargo ,I give em a spray of cannon then that scary missile sound starts and in 30 seconds I'm dead all the time.
Repeat that 20 times and I'm a blubbering pool of depression and anxiety.
I have to walk away from the PCand take a break.
these games were too 'hardcore" for their own good.
Thank god game balance is seen as more of an importance in games these days.
Game develeopers who made these games must have have tested them on real life fighter pilots or physics teachers with insane IQ'S and forgot the rest of the World.
they forgot about the plane old Joe who wants to enjoy himself.
brainy people with never ever understand what it's like to be in the brain of a person who was born with lesser genes AT BIRTH!
That's one thing THEY ARE DUMB AT.
i did actually buy this game when it came out over ten years ago.
The case artwork just caught my eye.
Best artwork ever!
But I just plain suck at this game sobs.
The truly greatest space game of all time for me is the Mass Effect series.
Unbelievable games.
