I guess I'm the only dummy having issues installing this from a shell file.

I've opened the file in Notepad++ and tried to follow the comments at the start, but command prompt is telling me it does not recognize these commands.

Tried simply typing the (inconveniently long) name as you would any .exe, but no result. Not sure what to do here as I really don't mess with command line functions.

So if there's any simple help I can get before requesting a refund, something I really don't like doing, I would appreciate it.

If it matters, I'm running Windows 8.1.

And before it's asked, yes I did navigate to the proper folder the file was downloaded to before trying these things.

Hi whatsnottaken,

I'm not sure I follow what is going on. Are you downloading the game without galaxy?

The game is wrapped in an installer by GOG, I have no control over the name of the installer, if you have issues with the installer, I believe gog support would be better to answer your questions.
Yes, I don't use Galaxy so just using the "offline installer".

Except I'm not getting an .exe with the GOG logo like usual, it's giving me a shell file. Is this supposed to be an exe?

-Ah, okay I guess I really am dumb.. :P
Somehow the download type was switched to Linux, not sure if I accidentally clicked that or it was default or something?
Sorry for the confusion, downloading and installing now.

Hi, The Creator.

Something strange is happening :))
The current build in my library is still 1.0.1.0871 (I re-downloaded it to make sure GOG-team didn't forget to change the numerals :) ). And the number of languages on the marketplace page changed only few hours ago.
I hope the game will be updated after that.
