I had been playing the MOST EXCELLENT DEMO on Steam, and when buying it here on Gog, the game tried to import my old save. The Devs have said that likely the demo save won't translate properly and it's true I couldn't "Pick up" where I left off, but more than that, I couldn't move at all - with either controller or keyboard. All I could do was just look around.

BUT this is easily fixed by just starting a new game.

I had the same thing. Played the demo on Steam, bought it on GoG and it still found the savefile. Unfortunately, I couldn't move or turn around when loading in. Starting from scratch fixed it.
