It's a pity we don't know which files are affected by the steam patch as someone with the steam copy could simply zip the updated files and post the zip online for GoG users to download and override their game files with.

It seems to be, according to the changelog, but I haven't tried downloading the new version yet.

runs really good now, game speed keys remapped to proper locations and all.
