Hey Guys,
I just bought Imperium Galactica II. Was very happy because i wanted to play this since i played the demo back than.
Now my problem i started the toturial and had to notice: no voice over ! i have music sound but no voice over.
,I am german by the way, but i tried at with english and german i don't even have a slider for speech voleume in the menue.
Did anyone Else got this problem? was my Installation damaged? does GoG dont have Voice over in this version?

I'm happy to read any reply

I have the same thing happening however I can not read German posts (google translate time) I recall there was voice overs from the boxed version I played years ago. Both for tutorial and the advisor messages.Other than this the game seems to run very smoothly for me.
I watched a letsplay and sure enough it had voice overs.

I also had the impression you had voice offers in some quests and tutorials..

I think the tutorial was more proactive dunno if i'm confusing or they change it for the mobile/gog version.

Should be fixed in the latest version of the game: 1.83. Please update and let us know if everything works as intended :)
Tested..messages have voice over now. Tutorial did not. I think a few of the pc options (resolution etc) may still be missing from the options menu. The patch fixed 98% of what I found missing....glad to see the game heading in the right direction! Thanks again for bringing this great game to us!
I've noticed the voice over for the Tutorial is still missing. Will this be added in the future?

I doubt it...I cant even get a reply wether this is the most current build. (STEAM had a test branch going which fixed a few things)
My memory of playing this game a long time ago is of quite good voice acting which included messages and exclamations from your ship pilots during battles which added a lot of atmosphere to the game. You had the feeling your assets were implementing your orders and keeping you informed in real time. I really liked the game and was one of those hoping it would resurface in digital form having lost the disc along the way.

I am hesitating to buy because reviews and reports say most of the voice acting is absent in this version

I would like to hear from someone who has played this version recently; and please not someone who is just giving an opinion or relying on memory

I own 3 copies of the game (GOG, Steam and the original CD - English version) and I can confirm that Tutorial voiceovers are missing in the current GOG and Steam versions (1.83A).

I'm not sure about the other (in game) voices though, I will have to play a little more :)

If somebody is interested, I could upload the original Tutorial voices (from CD version) somewhere. It's only like 16 MB of mfx files, but the directory structure of GOG and Steam versions is different, so I'm not sure if it'll help.

Edit: Also it seems that GOG and Steam versions use ogg files instead of original mfx format.

Edit2: In-game voices (Campaign) are included in GOG and Steam version. So it seems that only Tutorial voices are missing.

Isn't it strange? For the campaigns there are the audio files for 5 languages available (English, Spanish, French, Italian, even Hungarian) but not German.
Does anybody know if there originally was a CD version with German audio?
How can I change the language of the game, the dropdown menu in the launcher wont let me choose, it says its ingame, but i cant find it

Ok, found it, it was in "other settings"
