St3f4n2006: Found on another forum (works like a charm):
You need to activate DirectPlay for windows 10

1. Right click Start
2. Click Programs and Features
3. Click Turn Windows features on or off
4. Make sure there is a check in Legacy Components
5. Click the + to expand
6. Check the box for DirectPlay
i've done this and still cannot play it, the error comes up when i get into the map. When i choose to play the random map i can get into the game and do one or two movements but then the error comes up again.
Already tried changing the name to the winmm file, opening the game from the launch exe but still nothing. I bought the game because i was having all these problems with my old cd and i thought the GOG version would be ok.
Anyone can help?

(the screen is in spanish, btw)

So:
Did you install directx 9.0c?
Directplay?
NOT installed in program files(x86)?
Hey Guys,

i brought Imp1+2 yesterday - Imp 1 starts without any Problem

Imp 2 wants to have a MSVCR120.dll-File... okay C++ Liberies installed....copied the file into imp2-Folder.....starts Imp 2 over the Shortcut......

After installing 32bit - C++ für Visual Studio 2013 it works!
