Currently looking at buying this one, as I'd like a nice turn-based game to run on my second monitor while I type.

In order to do that, I would need to run this game in windowed mode. This often seems to be a little difficult with GOG games, possibly due to the age of the games in question.

Can anyone answer whether this game can be run in windowed mode on a modern PC (Windows 10 OS, specifically)?

If so, how did you get it into windowed mode?

Many thanks,
Greg

Theoretically no.
Pratically, it might be possible using DxWnd.

You can run it perfectly in a Virtual Box virtual machine (eg running windows 10). Just enable virtual box window "scale mode". Now you can resize the entire virtual machine window (and so the game too) as needed.

(Anyone triggered over this so called "necro" post. This game was created in 1997! No one cares! This information is obviously useful for someone running wanting to run the game windowed with comfortable scaling on a modern OS)
