So my bug is small, but it's still a bug that didn't exist with 1.1 Imperialism.

When a new infantry upgrade is researched, militia units in your major power are upgraded automatically. However, they must be bought and upgraded manually in your nation's colonies. But when I go to do so, the game crashes. It's not a huge deal (not going to win or lose based on colony militia) but I'm just curious if these kinds of bugs are common still.

This happens (usually) when your colony province has been attacked and you have lost the initial battle, but have successfully recaptured the province in the same turn. All I can suggest is that you make the provinces harder to capture in the first place.
No I've tested this: I am unable to upgrade any militia units in my colonies. I can upgrade non-militia military units, but militia crash the game.
