I've been trying to bring up the console for imperator for a while now and it simply will not work ingame. I tried typing "-debug_mode" into the command line but then I can't start the game... is it different for GoG?

That's weird, bringing up the console works for me, even without any command line options... maybe... (sorry for havig to ask such a stupid question but sometimes people do overlook the weirdest things) have you accidentally turned on ironman mode?
If not: What keyboard language are you using? It might just be some weird combination for you... or maybe you could switch it to English during gameplay...

I can't get debug mode to work either. It worked fine before Pompei update. Using Cicero update now. Game will not launch with "-debug_mode" added and key to bring up command line still no longer works in game without it.

edit:

I finally got it to work after a lot of trial and error guessing. The info from Paradox forums is wrong for GOG. The actual command is "debug_mode" without the "-" in front. Apparently GOG Galaxy puts that in for us. Would have been nice to get the correct info from Paradox. Or even better, not disable the console in the first place.
