More and more servers is moving to official version 4.09, so the best, what everybody should do is upgrade to 4.09 (use 4.08 version and use offical patch to 4.09 or download 4.09 version from GOG.com)

I tried it for myself and I am just novice in sim. flying and I must say it is great!!! You will got new realistic sounds, better textures,new campaigns, better AI....and more
BE CAREFUL with installation: there is very important 2.step of installation (you need to download small fix patch). It is crucial for digital downloaded copies, like from GOG.com.
It would be great if someone from GOG.com (fan of Sturmovik) could include this fix patch into the installer. Please?

Is it actually required for the GOG.com version though? Remember that this patch is for 4.08 and the GOG version is 4.09.

there is also UltraPack2.0n (UP2.0n). Some servers use it instead of HSFX. However, If you install UP2.0n first, you can then with the JSGME mod enabler also activate/deactivate the HSFX mod allowing you the ability to access more servers then just on HSFX mod.
