I started to try to play this again today. I was able to pre-generate characters just fine, but if I start a new game, the window shrinks down to about 1/12th the size of the monitor. I checked the options, and even disabled and re-enabled full screen mode. Nothing helps. I don't remember this having been an issue last time I played. I have the same laptop and monitor as I have had for many years.

What has changed? How can this be fixed?

Having similar problem here. With the Wide Screen mode and in full screen mode my game freezes at start up. But in windowed mode it loads and starts no problem.

Is there a fix for this. I also installed GUI FIX 104

My fix.

1) Change Input from monitor.
From display port to HDMI

2) Turn on Night light ( thats what caused screen flickering)
Settings>System>Display>Under Color turn on Night light

3) reinstall IWD2

4) install wide screen mod
Set Resolution 1920x1440
