I tried taking some shots with PRT SCRN but cannot locate them. Due to this I have loaded my gog game through Steam to use their integrated screenshot program but can anyone tell me where they might have ended up on my HDD other than my gog.com game folders? Much obliged for any help.

Try this - in Steam client click on View > Screenshots.

Or try looking in \Steam\userdata folder

edit: the solution above works only if you take screenshots via steam overlay using F12

Print Screen screenshots aren't saved automatically, but held in Windows clipboard. Just open any graphics editor, like IrfanView and past the screenshot in (press Crtl+V). In some programs you have to open a new picture first, but in the end it's always like copy-paste, only that the copying part is pressing Prt Scr.
Btw, pressing Alt+PrtScr only copies the active window instead of the whole desktop in Windows. But it only works in windowed mode, not in fullscreen applications. Also print screen doesn't work in every fullscreen program, but in most.

Triock:I should have checked and edited my post; what I meant was that I could find them easily when I used Steam but not when I was just loading the game normally.

Demignon, I tried using irfanview but the pics never loaded correctly, even after opening a new image. However, it turned out that my screenshots were going into a different subfolder in my documents for some reason and the problem has been resolved. Thanks for trying to help though.

Back to the Dale!
Thanks for the feedback Ragnar, happy gaming ;-)
You can use Playclaw or Fraps for getting screenshot.
