Hi there. There's probably a very simple answer to this question but for the life of me, I can't find it. And it's driving me crazy.

I have two Clerics and a Mage in my party but I can't seem to do anything with any of the scrolls I find but "Write Magic" into my Mage's spellbook those spells that he doesn't already know.

Can I not cast a spell directly from a scroll so my Mage doesn't have to memorise it for the day? And what of the Priest scrolls? There doesn't seem to be a single thing I can do with them other than sell them. I have tried, L-clicking them, R-clicking them, equipping them... everything.

Is it a bug or am I just not doing something correctly?

Thanks very much for your help.

Daniel.

P.S. I just discovered this great site a moment ago after scouring the internet for an answer to this problem. I can't wait to finally play all these great games that I had wanted to buy in my youth but never had the time/money to do so.

Put them into one of the three the quick-use slots - they'll appear in the bottom bar when you have the character selected, and you can use the scroll from there. Note that scrolls are one-time use and disappear afterwards.

Hi mecirt. Thanks for the quick response. I was about to write that I'd already tried that... but I just went back to the game to try it one more time and realised that although I had equipped the scrolls to those three quick-slots, I was then trying to activate them from the character's inventory screen (which doesn't work) rather than the normal game screen (which does).

I knew there had to be a simple answer.

Thanks again!
