Hi,

I installed IWD straight from the GOG Download Manager. No mods, no patches, just a clean install on a Windows Vista x64 system.

When I run it, I can make a party, generate all my characters, etc. but upon starting the game, only one character is in play. When I go to the party menu, is says "Loading Character..." next to all the other slots.

If I host online, then the other players can see all the characters, but they are invisible to me and the players can't control them even though they were assigned to them during Character Arbitration.

I'm having the exact same problem. Were you ever able to fix it?

Sorry, but no. I looked around forums and such but eventually had to just give up. To this day I haven't played it.
Not a solution as such, but the game is probably easier with a half-elf mage/cleric or fighter/mage/cleric multiclass than with a full party.

Getting all the XP with a single character means you level up like a rocket.

Strange.

I just installed IWD from GoG a month ago and had no problems creating a 6 member party and playing through the whole game with them.

I wonder what causes the bug?
