So, I was planning on installing these mods to IWD:

Fixpack
Tweak pack
NPC mod
Widescreen mod

Can anyone please tell me the correct order to install? Are these mods compatible?

A friend and I just got the games, and we got a problem; the G3 site is down. Does anyone have the mods on hand they can share?

so you found the emergency mirror before I could help you with that ;)

One problem I saw with it was that for Icewind Dale unfinished business version 6 is linked in the mirror whereas version 7 was available on G3 page. It has been probably released after the mirror was synced.

Well the Gibberlings site seems to have been suspended for whatever reason :/

Try right clicking the shortcut on your desktop and select "run as administrator".
That worked for me.

Ok, here goes my install order. Aiming for all the fixes and original gameplay.
At the time of writing the last 1pp "fix everything in all infinity engine games" pack released is 1ppv4.1.0, see here.

1. Install this: http://www.shsforums.net/files/file/972-1pp-animation-fixes-for-iwd-totlm. As someone said earlier, install the components separately as the installer is a bit broken. It's important this is installed first as it replaces some scripts, and does not patch them.

2. Install the IWD Fix Pack

(optional, did not install for authenticity's sake -- 3. Install Unfinished Business for Icewind Dale)

3. Install the 1ppv4.1.0 pack, or whatever is the newest version. I did play pick and mix with the components, look in the readme for IWD compatible options and pick those you like...
(For reference, here is my choice, but I don't yet know how that works out:

4. Install http://www.shsforums.net/topic/50032-1pp-high-quality-music-for-soatob-tututosc-iwd-pst/
Remember to actually replace the music files with those from the mod.

5. Install the Widescreen mod.

Aaaand testing...

Mmh, seems to work ok so far. Only problem that I noticed so far is that there is no paper doll representation of the scimitar. I'll play around with the 1pp mod a bit and see if I can get that fixed.

Been reinstalling three times now to get the Widescreen mod to work but to no avail. I apply the WS fix according to instructions but ever time I try to start the game it just gives me a black screen for a second or two at best. Most of the time nothing visible happens. i read another post in here somewhere stating the same problem but didn't se a solution to it. Can any one help?

I'm trying this on my laptop with W7 64bit.
