I tried to install IWD on my new Mac which is an M2 running Ventura.

I'm getting the error that it's not supported and I'm assuming because IWD is 32bit.

Am I completely screwed here?

No, there is GemRB. You can download a universal build for Apple Silicon and 64bit Intel Macs here [macsourceports.com].
