I very much apologize if there is already an answer to this, but I couldn't find it, I am sort of new to forums.

I see that the version of IWD that GoG offers has heart of winter. It also says it has Trials of the Luremaster, or something to that effect. But I don't remember the 2nd expansion mentioned. I actually have an IWD: The Ultimate Edition box set, but I didn't see anything on said second expansion. I've been told its worth rebuying from GoG because it has support, and GoG might fix potential problems, and that I'd have access to a community of fellow IWD lovers. But to the point, would I really be getting something extra that didn't come with my box set? If so, that would be an immediate sell for me. Other wise, I might hold off a while, and think about purchasing some other gems.

P.S. I'm jazzed, I found my box set, and everything is in mint condition, even the map that came with it.

I have an IWD box set that includes Heart of Winter but NOT Trials of the Luremaster. Mine's just called a "Icewind Dale 3-in-1 boxset." So double-check yours to make sure whether TotL is included. It's included here in the GOG version, however. If you already have a working set I'm not sure if it's worth it to re-buy it just for that expansion, though, unless you can't get it working or something. Perhaps wait for a sale.
Trials of the Luremaster was a FREE expansion, so if you already have a boxed version of Icewind Dale + Heart of Winter there is not much point in rebuying the game.
You can download Trials many places, for example from here: http://www.planetbaldursgate.com/iwd/info/luremaster/

Thanks for the answer guys, I really appreciate it.
I would also like to interject that Trials of the Luremaster is terrible and not worth playing. It's basically an extra mini-adventure where you fight a bajillion enemies and get a bunch of overpowered loot that makes the rest of the game (both Heart of Winter and the base game) far too easy.
