I'm running IWD2 Complete from GoG and have installed the Tweaks Anthology (v4) and the widescreen mod. I'm at the point where talking to Shawford Crale triggers the goblin attack. He runs out and as soon as I have control of my party again, I exit the building. I take care of the first named baddie VGhotan, and a cutscene happens where the magic-using goblin, Callabus (apparently), appears at the north-east Palisade, blows a hole in it with a fireball, and disappears, summoning Ghotag and a number of other goblins in his place. I run up, kill all of them and then ... nothing. I've been all over the map and all of the goblins are dead. There are a few survivors, but talking to any of them only yields stuff like "We'll talk later, there are goblins to kill" or the like. I can't leave the area, the battle music is still going, and everyone is just milling about. If I go back into Shawford Crale's building, I can get healed by Nolan, but there's no dialog options other than healing and 'Farewell'.

From what I've read on walkthroughs, that magic-user goblin, Callabus, is supposed to appear at the main palisade gate and blow that open as well, but it never happens. I've reloaded about four times now and every time the same thing happens. Is this a bug? I know that v4 of the Tweaks Anthology was just released recently, but I didn't see anything in the changelogs that looked like it would've messed with any scripts in the prologue. Anyone have any ideas?

Had the same problem few days ago, second goblin wave didn't spawn and i was stuck. Whad i did: I unninstalled the game, deleted everything in the installation folder (remember to copy your saves first), then installed the game again, beat this part without any mods and then added tweaks and widescreen after moving to chapter one. I'm not sure which mod causes this problem, but certainly something is not right.

I used save state just before the goblin attack (before you talk to Shawford about dealing with slacking mercenaries). I'm not sure if any further saves will work, so be careful with it.

Perfect, at least I know someone else was able to move past it. I just restarted a little bit ago, but if it happens again (I'm suspecting it will, I'll try your suggestion and report back on the result. Thank you.

Well, the issue cropped up again after I restarting, so I tried uninstalling/reinstalling IWD2 and, before loading either the Tweaks Anthology or the Widescreen mod, I was able to load the auto-save that gets created right before you talk to Shawford Crale and everything ran according to script just fine. On a side note, I did try clearing the cache\data folder before uninstalling/reinstalling, but that made no difference. So I suspect there's something in the TA mod/pack that screws up this script. Not sure which component, but ... thanks a bunch, Insajd!
Good to hear it worked for you too! The worst part about this problem for me was that I couldn't find anything similar online so I initially thought my game discs are broken (i'm using retail copy) but fortunately good ol' reinstal fixed it.

I guess the problem lies in Tweaks mod but I don't really know how it could mess with prot triggers (and I hope it doesn't break anything further in the game).
Hey guys, thanks for the solution. I reinstalled a fresh copy without the Tweaks Anthology and Caballus appeared properly.
I was curious so I went back and tried with the widescreen mod installed and it also worked fine, so it looks like it is definitely one of the Tweaks Anthology components that breaks it.

I do remember a couple of options I chose resulted in warnings, but now I can't remember which ones...
