Maybe this is a stupid question :) but is Enhanced edition whole new game worth of playing or is that just remake of previous series with better graphic and characters ?

Do you guys recommend Enhanced edition ?
It's the same game (with some restored content) in an updated engine. Better graphics? I don't think so. I much prefer the original, which you cannot buy any longer without purchasing the so-called enhanced edition, the same with the Baldur's Gate originals -- the shittiest scumbag move ever made.
I most certainly do NOT recommend the "EE" version of IWD, UNLESS you want to play around with some new character classes.

For me, IWD:EE occasionally freezes and the only way I can get out of it is by turning the power off!!!! BG1:EE ran almost flawlessly for me, 2 crashes in an entire play though but those were CTD, they didn't lock up my entire machine. I honestly forget the last time a game locked up my computer.

This was just my experience, your mileage may vary.

Maybe your computer is overheating?

(If possible, try setting your computer's power settings to something like "power saving" mode, and see if that helps.)

Your computer has become sentient, and is reacting the only way it knows how to such vile code being run through its circuits.

Coming to think of it, my PC has had heat issues but only when running FPS games. When my laptop overheats, it simply turns itself off. I've never had a freeze with any game where the only way I could get out of it was by holding down the power button.

Whenever the crash occurred, I always had summons active so I assumed it was a bug regarding summons. When I start my second play through of EE, I'll be sure to check for over heating though.

Lol, or it could be like Jerrod's stone. Sealing away the running code of evil before Belheifit pops his head out of my optical drive ;)
