Why isn't there Linux version on GOG, while on Steam there is?

There's also no Linux version on Beamdog's website. The Linux version is coming to GOG. They didn't say the reason for the delay but Beamdog is bringing the Linux support by the time they release the new BGII EE patch... or so I read. Steam's version of Linux could be a beta. But it will get here, don't worry ;)

Hi everyone!
Just gave the Linux version a try. Since I use neither Ubuntu nor Mint, I thought I'd just share this quick experience. Seems to work like a charm on my build of Arch Linux running Kernel 3.16 and the standard Intel and Mesa drivers.
