I think I have the "Unfinished Business" mod installed, and Marketh keeps teleporting around, and I can't seem to catch him. The problem is that I therefore can't get his badge. I can't believe the mod is actually intended to make the game unbeatable, so either there is a bug or I messed something up a while ago.

I don't want to uninstall the mod or reload way back when I first met Marketh. Is there anything else I can do to get his blasted badge?

Uninstall Unfinished Business, and then reinstall it, but omit the 'Marketh's Ring' content. It is the ring that makes him teleport around. It's stupid.

Is it going to break my game to do that at this point? Is there anyway to see which options are already selected? If I remember correctly, reinstalling requires selecting a lot of options without telling you which ones you had selected last time.

It won't break your game, it just means that if he doesn't have the ring, he can't teleport around. But, as in any situation like this, BACK UP YOUR SAVE GAMES FIRST.

Reinstalling does require you to make choices, but there are only around 9 or 10 I believe. You can note down which choices you made last time by reading your weidu.log before uninstalling.

IIRC can't you just cast Cloudkill and eventually Marketh will teleport into it and die? Seems like that's how I killed him.

I didn't install any mod and he still teleported around like crazy so I don't think it's related to the mod.

I think I got him with ranged weapons... and it took a while.

Is his normal behavior, ranged attacks and spells are good, if you are crazy, multiple CloudKill in all the big rooms in his house will help but the things will be chaotic as him has other spells as well .

In my case, my characters were confused, frightening or carbonized in a full room of death together to the "corpse" of Marketh
